Welcome
Metanoia Community Change, is an innovative organization committed to ending violence in our communities through proactive prevention, intervention, and education.
Metanoia addresses interpersonal and community violence as well as child abuse prevention, and social conflict solution. Our programs include individual consultation, group interventions, and community and organization based interventions.
We are committed to empowering individuals, communities, schools and organizations to seek non-violent solutions to problems. We utilize a strengths based perspective which respects individual rights and promotes social justice.
What we do
Our goal is positive empowerment for social change. Metanoia also emphasizes the usefulness of bystanders as change agents. Metanoia consist of three major components, prevention, intervention, and training/education.
Metanoia is well aware that these services overlap in that there is a component of prevention in every intervention and Consultation/training.
